Incredulou-quiz

One day your partner says to you, “Watch the news tonight. I did something.” You do so and discover that they, together with a friend, have shot dead seven staff at a fast food restaurant where your partner used to work and stolen a couple of grand, stopping only to slit the throat of one of the owners.

What is your response when your partner asks you to cover up for them?

I won’t tell the police. I love you just the way you are.

I won’t tell the police. A life of nameless dread at your side sure beats a life of endless fear of seeing you again.
0(0.0%)
I won’t tell the police. It’s nice that you have a hobby.
2(10.0%)
I won’t tell the police. Like you, I shall not rest until every purveyor of fried food is wiped off the face of the planet.

Thinks: *I just might tell the police.*

Also, a special mention for the BBC News hack’s choice of phrase in the same story:
Judge Vincent Gaughan is going to be a busy man. He is also due to preside over the sexual misconduct case of R‘n’B star R Kelly, which will be sandwiched between the two murder trials.

That would definitely be one of those situations where I'd be all: "Honey, can you sit down a second? There's some stuff I need to get your angle on."

nobody loves their killers? What is the major malfunction here? Am I the only one who believes in unconditional love?

But seriously, if my lover said "Watch the news; I did something," I don't think I'd actually wait to watch the news.

what's with the whole "taking one bite out of his chicken dinner order"? is it the done thing in sadistic crime circles that one must follow through on the "pretend to be a real customer, then do the place over" thing?

Maybe, if the chicken dinner order had been good enough, he would have been placated enough to call the whole thing off.
