I wonder if I would be more readily fooled by click-me spam banners pretending to be Facebook message windows if they didn't consistently misinterpret my London address.

What, now? Um, okay, I guess... I mean, it's 1.30am and there's no direct train, but if I get a cab to Marylebone there might be an overnight service to Wolverhampton. I can't imagine the local services will still be running at that time so I guess it'll be a long-distance cab from there. I should make it to Telford by maybe 5am, more likely 6am, so I don't know if you want to get an early coffee and maybe go halves on the cab fare? Let me know!

I think it's your IP address that it tries to guess your location from - is your ISP in Telford?

I'm not aware of TalkTalk being based out there. Certainly when I ended up travelling to their high-level complaints centre to stop them sending bills to my mother who had dispensed with their services months before, and vehemently refused to leave the building until I was seen by the number three in the company[1], I had to go no further than Acton.

[1] Good thing I took his personal phone number, as the following month TalkTalk's accounts department, apparently the parent company's provisional wing, again sent my mother a bill. Those who know me may like to note (or indeed award me some sort of medal) that throughout this entire debacle at no point did I publicly use the word "cunt".

Google is insistent that I'm in Hawes. I'm fairly sure that's not true.
