Lee Hawtrey: Making Good

A festive tune from everyone’s favourite jaded cowboy:

This title has meant that Lee’s song formerly known as “Some Good” is now titled “Bridges Burnt”. It's almost as if I don’t have any kind of plan!

Lyrics pls. On my standard laptop speakers with no magic sound card gizmo, sounds like an old man, sat in his own piss, moaning, until the end when you get hit with the clearly audible punchline, which makes me wonder whether it was completely deliberate. Whilst I enjoyed the piece in this thought-provoking manner, I imagine you had other ideas and that the lyrics will make me laugh like a loon. Ee tak, davai malchik!

While Lee has been no stranger to his own piss in the past, he long ago embarked on the 12 steps and this is not one of those occasions. If you genuinely can't make out anything except the last line, your description of your laptop's speakers as "standard" is at the least ambitious. I can send you the lyrics, but first please download the song (click the down arrow on the player) and have a punt at it through earphones. If you still can't hear any words then I'll reconsider remixing the thing, although it sounds fine at this end...

Oi. Quit knocking my lappy!
Will do.
Any chance he'd do a dance remix with TATU?

I’m not sure he could handle it. They’re Russians who pretended to be lesbians so that they could have a teenage pop career—they’re more jaded than he could ever be.
